RAOU Congress: a place of international collaboration

The Russian Association of Oncourology has successfully held its 20th Anniversary Congress. Since its inception, the Association has been committed to advancing professional development and fostering international collaboration. Every year, world-renowned experts join the Congress as honorary speakers, while RAOU members actively contribute to global research initiatives and clinical guideline development

This year, we were honored to welcome Byong Chang Jeong, Ho Kyung Seo, Mohamad Moussa, Aldouseri, and Ekaterina Kalashnikova. We sincerely thank all speakers for their valuable contributions and commitment.

We would like to extend special appreciation to Saad Aldouserifor his remarkable presentation on remote surgery. Many attendees initially assumed that remote robotic surgery was a rare, experimental practice — and were genuinely impressed by the scale of its real-world application and Dr. Aldouseri’s personal experience. His talk captured the attention not only of clinicians but also of the technical support team — a truly unique moment!
